yoga & mindfulness at school

I am always happy to hear from schools who wish to add yoga & mindfulness into their students life! Whether it's part of the Physical Education curriculum or after school clubs, I’ll work with you to cultivate safe, appropriate, fun classes.

I create imaginative and fun yoga for children and youth. Integrating topics they may be studying, we weave together stories with yoga postures, breathing and relaxation techniques. 

`Children are invited on wild and wonderful journeys  as  the  heroes  in  their  own  adventure, building strength, balance, confidence and self regulation in the process. 

For youth, classes support mental maturity, individuality and independence, physical and social changes. Exploring yoga poses, breathing, relaxation and mindfulness techniques to assist in stress management and productively manage life’s ups and downs. We build resilience, strength, balance and coordination, whilst fostering confidence and a healthy body image. Learning to trust and accept ourselves and others.

All classes are inclusive and offer a complete form of physical exercise in a safe and non-competitive environment. All classes include mindfulness and end with a relaxation, using visualization and breathing techniques.

I have been teaching yoga for the last 15 years and specialize in teaching yoga to kids from birth to young adults.  I am certified with Cosmic Kids Yoga, YogaKidz and Kidding Around Yoga.  I am live scan finger printed with the City of Pacific Grove and the PGUSD School District.
